Suki Pantal, founder of Suki’s Curries and Spices, is a
Worcestershire-based cookbook author, culinary teacher and
food columnist. she participated in The Great Cookbook
Challenge with Jamie Oliver on Channel 4, showcasing her Butter
Chicken dish from Old Delhi. her latest book, No Worries, Just
Chicken Curries, will be published on 11th November.
Dhol Crew is led by Sanjay Kumar and performs traditional & contemporary
music, bringing the roots of the Dhol drum into the 21st century. having
performed at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in
Birmingham, the dhol crew are back!
Tariq Saher is a well-established Punjabi folk singer living in
Worcester. His band plays traditional Indian instruments including the
Tabla, Tumba, and Harmonium. By popular demand Tariq is welcomed back
by Worcester Mela to perform for the fourth consecutive year.
shama and jimmy collaborate to perform 90's bollywood hits. Their
experience in the field is vast with shama peforming globally and her
songs featuring on many blockbuster films. don’t miss this duo who
promise to bring a touch of true Bollywood magic!
Awantika is A classical Kathak performer and Hatha Yoga teacher from
Khajuraho, now in the UK. Performing globally, including festivals in Taiwan,
Japan, and across Europe. She teaches in Taiwan and India with Her work
beautifully blends classical Indian tradition with a global, inclusive spirit.
Aaja Nachle Let's Dance are a Bollywood dance company who have been
teaching Bollywood dance to children and adults of all ages for 14 years!
With weekly dance classes, Aaja Nachle also teach workshops across the
Midlands, and have performed at a variety of events!
