Section 5 NOVICE Vegetables & Fruit Vegetables & Fruit

For new and less experienced exhibitors
Section Rules

• Vegetables & Fruit should be displayed as described in Section 3 and will be judged in Section 3 and will be judged
as per theas per the RHS Horticultural Show Handbook.
• Entrants into Section 5 Novice Vegetables and Fruit must not have won any first prize in
any class in Section 3 Vegetables and Fruit in any previous Worcester Show.
• Any entrant who has won a total of three or more first prizes in the Novice
Vegetables and Fruit Section in previous years will no longer be considered a
novice and may no longer enter this Section.
• Roots of non-root vegetables must be gently washed clean, and should be no more
than 100mm (4”) long.
• All root vegetables should be cleaned gently, with tops trimmed to no more than 75mm
(3”).
• Exhibitors must provide their own plates, baskets etc.
• Name the variety of the exhibit; if the variety is unknown then the exhibit should be
marked “unknown”.

A Worcester Show Trophy will be awarded to the winner of this section.

Section 6 Floral Decorations/Art Floral Decorations/Art

Section Rules
• All exhibits will be displayed on a table; table depth is approximately 610mm.
• Displays may be partially assembled before staging in the Show marquee.
• Only completed displays to be placed on the show bench. Extra tables will be provided
for staging.
• Flowers in all classes need not be grown by the exhibitor.
• Accessories are allowed unless otherwise stated.

Class 604 New A reflection of your experiences during 2020 - 2021

The Duckworth Worcestershire Trust Trophy will be awarded to the winner of this section.
