The Quiet Area is new for 2025!
Tucked away behind the Community Marquee, the Quiet Area offers a peaceful retreat from the excitement of the Show.
It’s a calm, safe space to rest, recharge, and unwind.
Please help keep the atmosphere relaxed by using quiet voices and creating gentle vibes.
Special thanks to our supporters — Snoezelen, Onside Advocacy, Myriad Centre, and Worcester Warriors Foundation — for making this space possible.
At The Myriad Centre, adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) can take part in a wide range of exciting, engaging, and inclusive activities designed to stimulate the senses, encourage creativity, and promote social interaction. From music and physical management, to arts, hydrotherapy, sensory exploration, and community visits, every day is filled with opportunities to connect, and thrive. Guided by our ethos of possibility, not disability, we focus on what each individual can do—creating a vibrant, supportive environment where every person is empowered to enjoy meaningful experiences and live life to the fullest.
ONSIDE is a charity that supports local people who may be finding life particularly hard. They may be isolated, living with dementia, mental or physical ill health, learning difficulties, or be children or families in crisis without the ability, confidence or knowledge to take the first steps to reach out for help. ONSIDE is unique in providing open access to local people who don’t know where to turn. If we can’t help, we know who can.
We have offices in Hereford and Worcester city centres and hubs within local communities so that people can easily access our support, such as the Riverside Hub and Mix Cafe. There are lots of ways people can support ONSIDE; volunteering, fundraising and spreading the word about who we are and what we do.
We are thrilled to be at the Worcester Show again for 2025. Together with Worcester Snoezelen, Worcester Warriors Foundation and The Myriad Foundation, we will be hosting the Quiet Zone, a safe haven where people can take a break, reset and regulate, ready to enjoy the rest of their day.
Worcester Snoezelen is a specialist centre that offers multi-sensory leisure therapy for people of all ages with disabilities and additional needs. Our approach combines immersive environments, tactile experiences, creative expression and gentle physical engagement to promote emotional well-being, communication and connection. For over 32 years, Worcester Snoezelen has been a lifeline for individuals of all ages with disabilities and additional needs across the West Midlands.
With 4 unique sensory rooms, an accessible Soft Play Zone and bespoke music service to our group activities for both children and adults, our services help to fill the gap in leisure provision for people with disabilities.
We are delighted to be collaborating with Onside, The Myriad Foundation, and the Worcester Warriors Foundation to facilitate a ‘Quiet Area’ at this year’s Worcester Show. This initiative takes important steps toward making large events more accessible and inclusive, giving everyone the opportunity to attend knowing they can take a break when needed.
Worcester Warriors Foundation is proud to be a key partner in helping Worcester City Council create the first dedicated Quiet Area at the Worcester Show 2025.
The Foundation exists to improve the lives of people facing mental and physical challenges. Using the power of sport, we engage and inspire vulnerable individuals of all ages to lead active, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Our support extends to those who are isolated, disadvantaged, or living with a range of disabilities or conditions such as dementia, as well as people with complex and individual needs.
We are delighted to be part of the show, both to promote our programmes and to support the creation of a calm, welcoming space for visitors who may need a break from the busy event environment. This inclusive area will offer families, carers, and individuals a peaceful retreat—ensuring that the show is accessible and enjoyable for all.
It has been a pleasure to work alongside Worcester City Council and other partners to make the Worcester Show 2025 a more inclusive and supportive experience for everyone.
