Dhol Crew

Dhol Crew under the leadership of Sanjay Kumar, masterfully blends traditional & contemporary music, revitalising the art of the Dhol drum for the modern era. Dhol Crew has showcased their talent at prestigious events, including the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games and the Netball Super League grand final.

Awantika

Awantika is a classical Indian Singer and Kathak Dancer, Awantika was born in Khajuraho, the world-famous city of temples, where music is carved into the stone. Inspired by nature and the natural world, she is one of those rare artists equally adept in singing and dancing. Awantika performs globally, including festivals in Taiwan, Japan, and across Europe. 

Suki Pantal

Suki Pantal, founder of Suki’s Curries and Spices, is a Worcestershire-based cookbook author, culinary teacher, a food columnist and speaker . Suki is an ambassador and storyteller of Indian culture through food. She was a contestant on Channel 4’s The Great Cookbook Challenge with Jamie Oliver in 2022 showcasing her exquisite Old Delhi’s Butter Chicken dish. Suki’s latest book, ‘No Worries’, just chicken curries’ will be published on 11 November.

Tariq Saher

Tariq Saher is a well-established Punjabi folk singer living in Worcester. His band plays traditional Indian instruments including the Tabla, Tumba, and Harmonium. By popular demand Tariq is welcomed back by Worcester Mela to perform for a fourth consecutive year.

Shama & Jimmy

Shama and Jimmy collaborate to perform 90s Bollywood hits. Their experience in the field is vast, with Shama performing globally and her songs featuring on many blockbuster films. Don’t miss this duo who promise to bring a touch of true Bollywood magic. 

AAJA Nachle Let’s Dance

AAJA Nachle Let’s Dance are a Bollywood dance company who have been teaching Bollywood dance to children and adults of all ages for 14 years! With weekly dance classes AAJA Nachle also teach workshops across the Midlands, and have performed at a variety of events.
